I'm sitting in the Calgary airport right now. MAN I really need to get my battery fixed - it's a pain in the ass having to plug in all the time. Kind of defeats the point of having a laptop.
Anyway, in a couple of hours I'll be catching a flight back to Saskatoon. THANK THE GODS. I am so sick of my parents. Finally I'll have some time to myself and some space to breathe. When I get back, I'll start working on my entry about Waterton Lakes - and it'll have the photos to go along with it, hell yeah!
Hopefully when I'm back I'll be able to (finally) get some writing done as well. I thought I'd be able to do something when I was in Fort Mac, but I forgot how stifling being around my mother can be. I need to write letters to several people, and finish up all those small fics that I have floating around. Then I need to get my ass in gear and write something for August 23rd - that was the date that the Baltic Way took place, back in 1989. I really really want to write something relating to that - and it has to be done in time. Ach, I have less than a month... Oh, well.
On an unrelated note, I've been RPing recently - quite a bit in the last two days. It's been fun. ♥ I'm still not quite comfortable doing it on the meme. But I did it a little bit here in my journal, and I think I'm more comfortable that way. Considering I'm used to private or semi-private RP, this makes perfect sense.
And now I remember, I need to update my threadlogs. Bah. Will do that later....

RPing is so much fun! But I get worried RPing on the Meme sometimes. I don't want to be a bother.

RPing on the meme is both wonderful and stressful. I had so much fun today, as I was playing with an anon, and that's not something that I normally do (because I don't make my own threads, only reply to other people). But RPing on the meme can be stressful too, because people get so pissy with the RPers sometimes. So, I try not to do it there too much. Thankfully, because I play sparingly and am relatively unremarkable, I haven't had anyone get shirty with me yet.

As for the package - if I recall, mail from where you are takes three weeks, maybe a month, to get to me. So, depending on when you sent it, it might arrive very soon!

I'm going to West Germany today to visit a friend who is also a Hetalia fan XD; It's funny how silly webcomic about history connected me with people from other countries - it will be my second trip like that this year and probably I will invade also my French friend this year - of course they all are also invited to my place XD; but yes, I have so many fanarts to do and so little time D:

I was not worried about the mail, because I haven't had any problems receiving packages here, from Europe or otherwise. However, I will say, there was some confusion at the post office, with the address - the way you write 1 looks like the way many North Americans write 7, so there was uncertainty with the address (fortunately there is no house at the location with 7, so they figured it out). I remember now that I have encountered this confusion when receiving other mail from Poland (can't remember if with other parts of Europe too, or not). I think perhaps next time, to ensure there is no confusion, it might be best to print out the address and tape it onto the envelope. (I usually do that, but it is because my writing is hard for people to read)
