It's like, immediately after judo class on Monday, my body decided, "Okay, time to be Very Ill now". I've been battling nausea and fatigue since then, and let me tell you, it's not how I planned things to go.
On the upside (??), my parents are sick too, so it's not just me. We were already planning to have a scaled-back Christmas due to my brother and his wife being out of town, so this just scaled it down even more.
This is probably the most low-key Christmas we've ever had. It felt very good to not have to put on my formal clothing and deal with the usual performative nonsense. Too bad the circumstances, eh.
...Anyway, so that is that.

Definitely helps to look for the silver lining. And I like having an excuse to sit around on the couch reading manga and not doing much else. :P
