I like using dreamwidth as well. It's amazing how livejournal/dreamwidth used to be the place to go to for icons and stuff and now most of the icon makers has reclocated to other sites.

I love using DW! It's so much more...cozy, then tumblr? Like, tumblr is this big club where everyone's shouting at each other to be heard while DW is this cozy cafe where we can all talk to each other in reasonable tones and still hear each other. IT'S GOOD. :3

I'm so glad that you got back into it too. I've been kind of ignoring my dash a bit, so if it weren't for twitter and dw, I would have no idea what you're up to! '3'

The main issue that I have with tumblr is like, so much of it is just images. And that's fine sometimes, but if I want to keep up with my friends, it's hard, because it isn't like you can filter the dash to show only text posts, or something like that.

I have so many gripes about that site as a blogging platform, it's not even funny. -_-

Yeah, it's kind of sad that things have moved around so much. It makes it so hard for me to find discussion and stuff now, argh.
