I hope y'all had an enjoyable Solstice. Mine was spent sleeping, mostly. It's nice to be able to finally get some rest after such a busy week at work.

I've been receiving an awful lot of mail lately. It's so wonderful to come home from work and find packages waiting for me. <3 Hey Uniaamu, I received your card today! It was quite a welcome surprise ahhh. ;3; And Radittz, I don't know if you saw my earlier note, I received your letter too! Earlier in the week, packages from Minni, who sent me enough sweets and salmiakki to last a whole year, and from Diplo, who sent a workbook for Finnish so that I can finally get to work on studying. I'd planned to do that today, but I was too busy sleeping.

... I will have to be sure to get frames for the drawings that Minni and Radittz sent, yeah. But that will wait until Boxing Day.

I have been a little bit stressed out lately because of work and preparations going on at home, but it isn't so bad. I just wish I could get more sleep! Then again, who needs sleep, anyway?

I promise that when January comes, I will be much more interesting to talk to - and there will be fic aplenty, I'm sure! Provided I don't get too lazy to write it.

Oh, one more little thing-

Forgot to tell you, Diplo - they didn't get squished in transit. ;)

i'm really glad to hear it!! i'm sorry things haven't been so great lately but as long as it's over and it's fine now, the only way is up and having stuff to look forward to (including that mysterious state called sleep) always helps <3

that you're happy makes me happy;; but if you ever need to talk i'm here if things ever reach that stage again (which probably sounds kind of baseless considering my current circumstances but i'm trying i swear)

hm well if all the flights from quebec to LA and/or melbourne for the rest of history - and now i think of it, all other flights in the world are cancelled then MAYBE... alternatively my family could get fed up with me enough and just leave me here haha..! regardless, i intend to return one day once i find the means o/
