My brother and his girlfriend are engaged as of yesterday.

I'm still kind of in shock. Didn't expect this at all.

Oh wow, congrats to them! It is the kind of thing that takes some getting used to...when my brother got engaged I already knew it was gonna happen (he was visiting her family and had said he was going to propose on the trip) and it was still an adjustment. I hope it'll be a nice thing for your family. <3

I think it'll turn out okay! I've calmed down a little now, though it's still quite a trip to think about. xD
