Norway - postponed

Today I cancelled my trip to Norway.

No amount of optimism is going to change the fact that things are a mess right now, and... Well, you know. I probably wouldn't even be able to get into the country. There's just no way this trip is happening this year.

Hopefully next year will be a better time. Or the year after that.

I'm disappointed, but I won't lie, I'm kind of glad that I don't have to worry about whether or not I'll be able to go any more.

(And now I have a whole extra year to work on getting into shape. Maybe next year I'll be able to entertain the idea of hiking Preikestolen with my friend, instead of dismissing the idea outright? :D )

So. There we are.

It's probably the right thing to do, but that still really sucks. I hope that when things are better and you are able to go, you have a great time. And that looks like quite the place to do a hike.

I'll have to work extra hard to make sure that hike can be a possibility, but it'll be worth it. :D
