I haven't done a draw in weeks. Figured that the first weekend of the new year would be as good a time as any to change that.
Today's draw: Queen of Swords, reversed.
Hmm.
First time I've drawn this one. Like I've mentioned before, I don't feel too cozy with Swords. They kind of set me on edge (hah). This one, let's see....
It seems that in reverse, she indicates a tendency to think with one's heart, not with one's head.
Guilty as charged.
This card can also indicate that someone might be a bit too cold-hearted, but... I don't think that part applies to me at this time. I've been feeling very good lately, so it's been easy to be kind.
When Reversed cards come up, I always take it as the deck giving me a kick in the pants. "You're doing this thing. You know you shouldn't be doing this thing. Do this other thing instead." So, I need to refocus. There's a suggestion that doing so might shake things up a little; maybe more than I would usually prefer. But sometimes things need to get shaken up a little. It's like when you're working on a puzzle with a gazillion pieces; if you're stuck, but you're still staring at it, you probably won't get anywhere. Sometimes you need to turn the mat around. Or stick the loose pieces in a box and shuffle them around. It helps make things a little clearer.
Or at least that's how it works for me.
All right, then. This week, Operation Clear Head is a go. :D
