This weekend was... uh. Well, it wasn't completely unproductive, and I got done some things that I'd been meaning to do, though not half as much as I would have liked, but overall it wasn't too bad.
I had hoped that my fic would be done in time to post directly after posting opens for the SveFin fest, but I don't think I'll be finished by then. Oh well, I still have plenty of time to get it done before posting closes.
I saw the announcement for the Hetalia rarepair exchange... I want to do it, but I'm already doing an exchange. Plus the two fests I signed up for. So it's probably best if I don't. If I can get the three things I'm in knocked out of the way, I can put something together that isn't for a fest/exchange, hopefully.
Started watching the American remake of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo today. Not finished yet - I'm about 2/5ths in - but I'll watch the rest tonight. There are few novels where I can confidently say "the film was better than the book", but with the Millennium films, I am definitely willing to say that (even when it comes to this one, which I haven't finished watching yet). The novels suffer so much from tl;dr syndrome, and even though I found them hard to put down, they still needed so much trimmed out. Seriously. The story flows so much better when it's visual.
