Oh dear... I'm so sorry to hear this, Yuu. I truly hope your mother will be okay. Try not to occupy your mind in this as much as you can in the meanwhile - there is nothing you can do about it, anyway. Cleaning is definitely good (if you like that), and would surely be appreciated by your mother.

By the way, about your cold, have you ever used the help of Probiotic? The good organisms that can be found in yogurt, for example. We have some yogurts that are especially rich of it, you probably have something similar in Canada... it helps the Immune system. Maybe it will help you too. Just a thought/suggestion, since it seems like it's frequently recurring.
