Eeee~!

My Amazon order came in today. Scofield's new volume, Kipocihkân, ahhh~ I'm so excited to read it. It's made up of poems "new and selected", and really most of it is stuff from his previous volumes, but those are so hard to find so I'm rather pleased. Can't wait to read the new ones, too. Speaking of poetry, also something much different: The Baltic Quintet: Poems from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden. Ahhhhh~ Normally I don't buy poetry volumes when I'm unfamiliar with the content/authors, but alksjdf I just couldn't resist this. Oh god, I'm such a nerd.

OH YEAH. hyperbeeeam, I got your postcard, eee~ It was entirely unexpected, and made me really happy. ♥!

Saaa. It rained this morning. This makes me so happy~ Now everything is all chill and fresh. Very nice. I think I'll go out for lunch today - just need to get myself properly dressed. I've been craving diner food recently. Perhaps I'll chill there and have my lunch and then head over to the Roastery to work on some fic~ Seems like it will be a good day. I need to do more cleaning tonight, but it's not a big deal.

Mum booked the flight; I'll be heading out to Fort McMurray on Friday morning. I'm going to bring my camera and take a TON of photos, and surely after the two weeks are over I'll have more than enough to do a good photopost. Y'all will get to see my northern homeland, ahhh~~ Gods, I miss the land so much. Not the city, really, but the natural bits. Oh yes. AHHHH and I can't wait to go to Coco Jo - that would be the indie coffee shop downtown. The coffee isn't as good as the Roastery, but the atmosphere is fantastic!
